Last October when I went down to Columbus, Ohio for the Mid Ohio Con I talked with quite a few people about the upcoming sequel to The Boondock Saints movie. So, it was there that I hatched the idea to do a Saints painting and get some prints made up to sell at cons and through this here site, as well. Above is what the finished project will look like. The prints will be 13x19 and I should have them available by the first of the year. The original painting is much larger at 20x30 and was done in acrylic washes.I'm super happy with this painting on so many levels and it's probably one of the better pieces that I've done (if I may say so myself), so I hope that someone finds some enjoyment in it, as well.

Gotta say yes, this one landed directly in the gut... a visceral hit. A great work, and I'd love this thing hanging on my wall, indeed.

I love it. Again, a good example of you bringing out light from within the subjects to give the work more dimension and depth. I'm also a big fan of your use of monochrome...Beautifully rendered, and a fun movie to boot!

Chris: Thanks Dude! I just had a similar remark made the other day on my use of monochrome colors and how they like what I'm doing with it. I wasn't really aware that I was doing it so much, but it's good to see that people are paying attention.
