Scratchboard Bumblebee

7x5
scratchboard/clayboard

This past week, I had an art day with my friend/teacher, Mary. We worked on our own scratchboard projects, with hers being very ambitious. She's been sending me updates on the progress and her piece looks great. Anyways, I did a bumblebee and had a great time doing it. Tomorrow, I will do up a Substack and show the process.

Ten Years and 100 Posts

Not to overshadow the post about my Uncle, but today marks exactly ten years ago that I started this blog. Ten years. Yikes! So much has happened and so much has not happened, ha, ha...

This post also marks my 100 post for this year, so I had to put something up.
This is the very first image that I posted on December 31, 2006. It's called The Keystone and is still one of my favorite pieces that I've done.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Bumblebee

Here is a pin up style painting that I finished up a few months ago. It has two subjects of interest for me; women and bumblebees. What does this mean? I don't know. Does this really need a meaning? You tell me.
