Sonic Express Delivery Logo

Here is a logo that I designed for Sonic Express Delivery in the San Francisco area. I don't do logos too often, but have enjoyed (and been frustrated) doing everyone. They each have their own unique challenges. The logo isn't up on their website yet, but it is on their vehicle(s).

Motor City Sketch at the Belle Isle Aquarium

Tonight at 7pm, our sketch group, Motor City Sketch will be the invasive species at the Belle Isle Aquarium in Detroit. We will be hanging out, hopefully sketching, talking nerd stuff and maybe fish stuff. If you are so inclined, stop on by and join us. All State Park rules now apply to Belle Isle, so act accordingly.

Hollywood Is Dead Sketch Cards

Here are the 15 cards that I contributed to the Hollywood Is Dead sketch card set that is forthcoming this summer by Matt Busch and Rocket Ink Studios. This was a fun set to work on and if you get a chance, check out Matt's book of the same name that inspired this set. You know, zombifying movie characters and stuff.

Here is a recent commission that I did for one of the AP cards from the Transformers set from Breygent awhile back. Old School Optimus.

A Recent Sketch

This here is a recent sketch that I may turn into my shipping labels. I need to clean it up, balance it, maybe some muted colors, maybe black and white. Not sure yet.

Agent Phil Coulson

This was done recently as a part of a commission. Sometimes, I'll add an extra sketch card into the mix if time allows or if it just seems like a good idea at the time. So, Agent Phil.

This here is last week's Stoopid Stuf cartoon before color and caption. I thought that the St. Pugnatius was a funny name for a church, but Kevin wasn't going for it. Sometimes, subtle humor is lost on that boy. *sigh*

Oh well, the toon came out great anyways and you have to love a priest in tight whitys and a pink shirt.

Remember, you can pick up Volume One of our Stoopid Stuf book, Bifocals and Beer Goggles, on Amazon, or from Kevin or myself.

So, what came first, the asshole or the pick up truck? Do assholes just gravitate towards pick ups or do they become one after owning one? I'm talking about the big battle cruiser, I have a small penis, more money than brains type pick up here.

This delightful guy cuts me off forcing me to hit the breaks so that he didn't run me over, then proceeded to do the same to four other vehicles in the span of minutes. Most of these cars were going slightly over the speed limit, but that wasn't cool enough for this choad. As he gets stuck behind someone slow and I pass him (which almost always happens with these guys) I notice the plethora of manly stickers on the back window. You know the ones, hunting stickers, kill 'em all, let god sort it out stickers, Calvin peeing on whatever stickers, you know, manly stuff. I get a good luck at him and he is hiding behind his arm, as is always the case, camo hat, cig, sunglasses, scowl, etc. The full costume and props going in full effect.

Little, little minds, a cancer affecting all.

They are everywhere.
