Immortan Joe sketches
Mad Max: Fury Road had some many interesting things going on that I wanted to draw, so here are a couple of sketches of Immortal Joe.

Some C4 Sketches
Here's some doodles that I did while set up at the Cherry Capital Comic Con in Traverse City this past weekend. The view from my table included artists David Finch and Seth Damoose.

Cherry Capital Comic Con 2015
This weekend will find me in Traverse City, Mi for the annual Cherry Capital Comic Con, or simply known as C4. This is one of my favorite shows to do, with a great staff and volunteers. They do a good show! No media guests, just a bunch of cool comic creators, so if you are in the area stop on by. A lot of Michigan talent will be on hand.
I'll have copies of the two new Stoopid Stuf volumes, the Unlawful Good anthology and all the usual crap.

Empire Strikes Back Sketchagraph Sketch Cards
These here cards were done for the Empire Strikes Back Illustrated set put out recently by Topps. These were signed by the voice actors for the radio serial that aired not long after the original movie, including Billy Dee Williams, Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels.

Stoopid Stuf: 50 Shades Of Stoopid
As with American Heaven, Kevin Minor and myself will released a second book this weekend at the Motor City Comic Con. This one will be both Stoopid Stuf books collected together, but in black and white (and shades of stoopid) at a cheaper price than the full color versions. This book is also available on Amazon.

Stoopid Stuf: American Heaven
Because you demanded it (well, maybe just because we wanted to), Kevin Minor and I have released our second Stoopid Stuf book, entitled American Heaven. As with our last book, there is a toon inside that expands on this premise. We are unveiling the new book this weekend at the Motor City Comic Con in Novi, MI, but if you are impatient, you can get it now on Amazon.
We are also releasing a black and white collection of the first two books and that will be called 50 Shades Of Stoopid. But, more on that later in the week.

Here is the cover to the story that I illustrated in the Unlawful Good anthology with colors by Harry Saxon. The story is by Brian Visaggio and lettered by Zakk Saam. Everything edited by Heather Antos. I'll have copies with me this weekend at the Motor City Comic Con.

Bodie Troll Pin Up
I have a pin up in the back of my buddy and fellow cartoonist Jay Fosgitt's latest issue of his creation, Bodie Troll. The story arc is called Fuzzy Memories and is out today. And if you are out and about, Jay is signing copies at Comic & More in Madison Heights until 7pm. I just picked up my signed copy!

The Empire Strikes Back Illustrated Sketch Cards
Here are some of the Empire Strikes Back Illustrated sketch cards that I did recently. The ones shown are folded double cards. I did do some standard size, as well. Even though the set is based on the radio show, I did portray the characters from the movie.
The set is out now and I do have six blanks for AP's if anyone is interested.

Belle Isle Aquarium Koi Transfer 2015
Tomorrow, starting at 10am is the spring koi transfer on Belle Isle to bring all the koi fish out of the basement winter holding tanks outside to the pond. Bring the kids and the grandparents and a bucket, so you can help bring a koi outside. There will be hot dogs, chips and pop afterwards.
Unfortunately, I won't be in on the fun as I will be at Comic and More for Free Comic Book Day, but this is a fun time and you should go!
You can also get a colored version of the above cartoon as a button tomorrow at the aquarium.
