This pic is from a hot day this past summer from the Sanilac Petroglyph State Park located in the 'thumb' area of Michigan. The Native American petroglyphs are some of the oldest in North America, carved some 1400 years ago.

Each year my friend Sandra collects photos from her internet friends for her birthday. This year's photo was taken last August on my way back from Chicago. So, this was somewhere in southern Illinois and soon after this pic was taken the clouds formed a tube of sorts and the setting sun shone inside of it and it seemed to be on fire. Unfortunately, the pic that I took of that was too blurry.

Each year my friend Sandra collects photos from her internet friends for her birthday. Here is a pic of a cheetah from a visit to the Toledo Zoo last March. This guy was so relaxed. I made a few clicking sound and he slowly turned my way and waited until I took the picture before going back to daydreaming or whatever it is that cheetahs do on chilly March days.

This year I chose a pic of our puppy Elroy. This was taken back in early October when we first adopted him. He looks cute here, but trust me, he's a terror, a real handful!

Today is the birthday of my internet pal, Sandra, and on this day she likes to collect photos from all her internet friends across the globe. My picture was taken back in November on a chilly morning hike in a park somewhat near my house. I really liked the cloud formations; they seemed to have settled over this scene like a blanket.
