This week's #SundayFishSketch theme are fish that have rebounded due to conservation and whatnot. The rockfish has apparently rebounded from past years, so here is a copper rockfish. I was totally going to go cheesy and do a rockfish with some guitars and all that, but chose to spare you the indignity of viewing such a spectacle.
Stick around, it'll rear its ugly head at some point.
For the last month or so, I have been making my way through the 1966 Batman series (it's been awhile) and there was an episode where Cesar Romero had a perfect psychotic Joker expression. Had to sketch my version of it. Minus the barely covered up 'stache, of course.
This week's #SundayFishSketch theme are fish that are a good omen. As I was looking up ideas, I came across an article that said that a fish head nailed to a door in Sicily is supposed to ward off evil spirits. That's a good omen/thing, right?
So, a whole fish must be that much better, so here is a large-eye Dentex found in the Mediterranean Sea nailed to a door in Sicily.
So, these five cards were supposed to be Artist Proof cards for doing some extra work for the Cryptozoic set of the Season 3 Rick and Morty cards. I waited forever and the art director at the time moved on, so I never received the official AP stickers. So, I decided to just go ahead and finish them and put them out there. As you can see, they are done in black and white and these were never pack inserted. They are coming directly from me. The links are below:
These are my Artist proof cards done for the Series 1 set released by RR Parks Cards. Since there are no stickers or stamps to signify these as AP's, I've added stars to the background to separate them from the rest of the cards that I did for the set. Links are below:
