The latest episode of Muck Man has our hero wishing a Happy Birthday to another crime fighting vigilante, a hero created by fellow cartoonist Denver Brubaker, The Checkered Man (which may or may not be his real moniker). Denver created Tales of a Checkered Man and the strips began running one year ago. So, happy birthday to Tales of a Checkered Man and make sure you check out the bi-weekly adventures here. If you noticed, I put a checkered cab style pattern on the Checkered Mobile in kind of a nod to just that kind of thinking. Of course, there's a little bit of Speed Racer in there, too.
