It's been awhile since I've done one of these Friday Ink posts, so here goes! I took the Joker sketch from last month and did an inked version. This piece will be available at the Cherry capital Comic Con this weekend, alongside other originals.

Cherry Capital Comic Con 2022

 

Once again, I will be up in Traverse City this weekend for the Cherry Capital Comic Con held at the Grand Traverse Resort. As I've said many times before, this is a unique con that has a great staff and will be full with wonderful creators. Always a good time. So, if you are in the area and like such events, come on out and stop by. I'll be in Artists Alley.

Uncle Sam Has A Question

 

This cartoon should be applied to the general state of things in this country, but the immediate thought that comes to mind is that just a few short weeks ago, they were standing on their soapboxes telling us how noble they all are in protecting the fetuses, that life is so important. Today, they are saying that dead kids are acceptable to protect the second amendment. Let that sink in for a bit.

This week's #SundayFishSketch theme are sandbar sharks. The best of all sharks, according to Dr. David Shiffman, the shark guy who suggested the theme.

Darth Maul Redo

 

Since the weather here has turned for the better, I thought that now might be a good time to make this carving of Darth Maul (called 'Chasm') from a few years ago look a little less penile.  I'll rework the cloak on all sides and probably shore up the hands a little better, while I'm at it.

This week's #SundayFishSketch theme are fish that are hard workers, such as nest builders, migrators, etc. What could possibly be a harder working fish than a hammerhead shark with all of those nails on the ocean floor? 

I think that I might have warned you that the jokes would only go south at some point.

Hammerheads are long distance migrators, as well. So there. Hard working.
