Rick & Morty, Season One Sketch Cards, Part One

So, here are half of the cards that I did for Cryptozoic's Rick & Morty set just released. I had two cards rejected, so that is why those two areas are browned out. One was for what I'm guessing was a last minute licensing decision because it featured a well know cartoon cat in an alien fashion. The other, I'm not sure why. Anyways, a fun set to work on, for sure. The other half and my AP's coming soon!

Baroness Hucka-Sand

Come on, Disney! The next animated evil villain is right in front of you, begging for her story to be told. Just think, she helps detain the children, cages them, fattens them up, then uses their skin to make "I don't care. Do U?" jackets. It's writing itself, folks. Then she'll lie about it.

I'll be posting a few set updates this week as The Last Jedi 2 was just recently released by Topps and Rick and Morty, Season 1 will be out in two days, so more on that then. I will post soon about my AP's from the Jedi set soon, as well. The above are all the cards that were done for this set.

The Walking Dead: The Road To Alexandria Sketch Cards

Awhile back I had posted my AP's for this set. but had never shown all the cards that were done. So, here are the sketch cards that I did for the Walking Dead: Road To Alexandria set put out by Topps.

Thomas Hart Benton Sketch

I've been trying to get a sketch of the regionalist painter Thomas Hart Benton just right for some time now. I think that I'm happy with this one. I might try a watercolor next and see how that goes.

He might not appreciate me drawing him in purple, so he might kick my ass if I ever see him in artist heaven. 

The Canine Persuasion Sketch Cards

Earlier in the year I did these sketch cards for 5finity to be auctioned off by them to raise money for the March of Dimes. I know that a few of them went up on ebay within the past month or so and a few sold, so that is good (the first three). I don't know when the rest will be put up for sale, but they all will eventually.
