Well, if there was going to be a Koi Festival at the Belle Isle Aquarium this year, this would have been the logo used for letterheads, buttons, etc. It's basically the same design from last year, but I tweaked it a little by turning the koi to better accommodate the 'aquarium' wording. Plus, I think the fish look a bit better, design-wise. There will be a koi festival to be held in Japan during the month of May, so there's that going on.

Pigtoberfest
This is a logo that I did recently for a friend's event. It seems like when I do this kind of work, it's a fish or a pig.

New Convention Banner
This here is my brand new fancy pants banner that I will use for conventions. I wanted a new one as the old one had all licensed properties and I am not doing as much of that as I used to these days. Plus, one should have their own stuff as much as possible. A big thanks to Bill Pulkovski for doing the design work. And I have a large space below to hang my latest prints and such.

Sonic Express Delivery Logo
Here is a logo that I designed for Sonic Express Delivery in the San Francisco area. I don't do logos too often, but have enjoyed (and been frustrated) doing everyone. They each have their own unique challenges. The logo isn't up on their website yet, but it is on their vehicle(s).

Dog Park Logo
Awhile back I did the logo for the Eastpointe Dog Park group MiDog and since then they have made some strides toward opening the park. They have the site, now need the funds to put the fencing up among other necessities. On their sign you can see the logo as well as the fundraising thermometer.

TJS Automotive Repair Logo
Recently, I finished up a logo design for TJS Automotive Repair shop located in Madison Heights, MI and here is the final design as it will appear on their t-shirts and other advertisments. The car used for this design is based on one of the owners own cars, a 1968 Grand Prix. I had a lot of fun doing this one and I seem to be getting better at doing cars, as long as I can put my own twist in there somewhere.

Hogsnot Logo V.2
Here is the new and improved Hogsnot logo with a few changes. I believe that the product will be hitting the shelves soon, so hopefully the Detroit area will be well represented by the hog.

And here is one of the earlier versions that I think would make a great sticker or t-shirt. We'll have to wait and see about that one.

Hogsnot
Here is the logo that I have been working on for a new local company called Hogsnot and they will be selling motor oil for the motorcycle market, particularly Harleys. The client (who was great to work with btw) wanted an ugly hog with snot and drool, ear rings, skull cap, the whole nine yards. Heck, I'm friends with this type of......... "people." So, it was very easy for me to conceptualize this one. I thought what would make this guy have that little extra added touch of ugly, so the uni-brow was a must, thick ear hair and stubble, which I'm kind of happy with.
I'm hoping soon that this ugly hog will be seen in and about the Detroit area. I believe that a website is being built for the product, so I will post a link when I hear more. And soon I will post the sketches and the steps that lead to this sweetheart.
