Hollywood Is Dead Artist Proof Sketch Cards

I am currently going through the stack of blank Artist Proof cards that I've accumulated over the years and never completed, for one reason or another. So, the next in line are the 14 AP cards that I received for doing the 2010 set released through Rocket Ink Studios. For those who remember, this set was done in conjunction with Matt Busch's Hollywood Is Dead art book. Matt recreated a slew of classic and modern movie posters done in the style of the original artist, but as undead characters. The cards were done in each artists style, though and much fun was had.

I included recent movies and series, as well as classic ones. All cards have my very own AP sticker on the back to separate these from pack pulled cards. The links are below:

Odd Tales From The Curio Shop Anthology

The Odd Tales anthology from Rocket Ink Studios has been finally published and looks darn good! This was done as a kickstarter, but should be available to the public in the coming year, so be sure to check it out. The book features such creators as Tony Miello, Mikey Babinski, Bill Pulkovski, Bill Maus, Kasey Pierce, Jay Jacot, John Marroquin, Dan Dougherty, Gary Reed, Dirk Manning, and myself. So, check it out!

Portraits Of Poe Book Signing

I will be at Traverse City's The Top Comics this Saturday from 1-4 to sign copies of the Portraits of Poe book alongside Bill Pulkovski, Tony Miello and Dirk Manning, who wrote the introduction. Dirk will also be there signing copies of his own books. There will be a drink and draw at Right Brain Brewery following the signing. So, if you are in the area, stop on by. It should be a fun time! Hollywood Is Dead Sketch Cards

Here are the 15 cards that I contributed to the Hollywood Is Dead sketch card set that is forthcoming this summer by Matt Busch and Rocket Ink Studios. This was a fun set to work on and if you get a chance, check out Matt's book of the same name that inspired this set. You know, zombifying movie characters and stuff.

Portraits Of Poe Book Signing

I will be signing copies of the Portraits Of Poe book at Comics & More in Madison Heights tomorrow starting at noon. I will be doing so alongside Rocket Ink Studio's Bill Pulkovski and Tony Miello. Portraits Of Poe, Part Four

As well as doing some sketch cards for the Portraits Of Poe set, I was able to do a base card too. I had already done a sketch card and an illi for the Poe story, The Conqueror Worm, so I wanted to do a different image, but keeping with the stage and actor motif, since this story was meant to be a play or about a play or some such thing. So, you will be able to find this card in sets of Portraits Of Poe by Rocket Ink Studios.
