Koi Festival Logo

Well, if there was going to be a Koi Festival at the Belle Isle Aquarium this year, this would have been the logo used for letterheads, buttons, etc. It's basically the same design from last year, but I tweaked it a little by turning the koi to better accommodate the 'aquarium' wording. Plus, I think the fish look a bit better, design-wise. There will be a koi festival to be held in Japan during the month of May, so there's that going on.

Pigtoberfest

This is a logo that I did recently for a friend's event. It seems like when I do this kind of work, it's a fish or a pig. 

Sonic Express Delivery Logo

Here is a logo that I designed for Sonic Express Delivery in the San Francisco area. I don't do logos too often, but have enjoyed (and been frustrated) doing everyone. They each have their own unique challenges. The logo isn't up on their website yet, but it is on their vehicle(s).

TJS Automotive Repair Logo

Recently, I finished up a logo design for TJS Automotive Repair shop located in Madison Heights, MI and here is the final design as it will appear on their t-shirts and other advertisments. The car used for this design is based on one of the owners own cars, a 1968 Grand Prix. I had a lot of fun doing this one and I seem to be getting better at doing cars, as long as I can put my own twist in there somewhere.

MiDOG

My cousin Beth is part of a local organization here in Eastpointe called MiDOG, which is about getting a dog park in the city. They asked some artists to submit some sketch proposals for their logo and I was fortunate enough to have mine selected. And here it is along with some information about MiDOG that Beth passed on to me:

To view this park as a community project, in partnership with the City of Eastpointe, designed to satisfy the needs of dog-owners and non-dog owners alike."

I was very pleased to do this one. Not only did I get to help out family in their pursuits, but also it's a good cause. I know this city needs some help! And the dog in the logo is loosely based on one of my dogs, Reggie.

I can't wait to see how this looks on their t-shirts!
