The Canine Persuasion Sketch Cards

Earlier in the year I did these sketch cards for 5finity to be auctioned off by them to raise money for the March of Dimes. I know that a few of them went up on ebay within the past month or so and a few sold, so that is good (the first three). I don't know when the rest will be put up for sale, but they all will eventually.

As a perk for doing the set, we were given 10 Feline Persuasion sketch cards to do with as we like. If any are interested in a cat commission, send me a message!

Superheroes For Babies Sketch cards

Last year I was asked by 5finity to do some sketch cards for The March Of Dimes to raise some money for their charity, Superheroes For Babies. Now they are available to bid on. The links for each card are below.

So, if you are in a charitable mood, please feel free to bid away. Someone somewhere will appreciate it, I'm sure.

March of Dimes Sketch Cards

Periodically, I will do some work for charitable causes. It's important to give something back or to pay it forward; it feeds the soul and helps others in need. At least, I hope my meager contributions help those in need. These cards were done through 5Finity for the March of Dimes and are currently being auctioned off on ebay to raise money for the organization. You can bid here, if you'd like. Much thanks to Steven Frank for always doing such a tremendous job with all of his efforts.

Voltron: United and Drawn

I just received my comp copies for the Voltron: United and Drawn book put out by 5Finity and Moonstone Books. I did the above painting (page 74) for the book last April, so it's nice to finally have the finished product in hand and it is a nice looking book. Kudos go to Steven Frank for putting together a great package and I'm always appreciative for being asked to be a part of something like this.

For those who know me, they know that I am not much of a fan of Voltron (hey, he's no Shogun Warrior!), but I think that I did a good job with the character and making him my own. I chose to do a pin-up style approach, as well.

Anyways, the book retails at $29.99 at all your fave book outlets and I have two copies that I can part with, so if your interested, shoot me an e-mail and we can haggle. I'll throw in a sketch to boot!

Zombies vs. Cheerleaders sketch cards

How about some more sketch cards? Sure, you got it. Here are the 25 Zombie vs. Cheerleader sketch cards that I did for 5Finity back in the fall. The set was released earlier this year, I believe, so they are out and about. And I do have 5 blank cards left if anyone is interested in a custom made zombie/cheerleader image.

Moonstone Comics Sketch Card Returns, etc.

For doing the Zombie vs Cheerleader sketch card set for 5Finity I was supplied with 8 blank cards to do with as I choose. At some point, I will just draw on them all and then try to sell them at shows and whatnot. However, if anyone would like to commission me to draw a scene of their choosing, just contact me and we can work it all out. Below is an example of just that. A collector wanted a three card scene of something French related, since he is, in fact, French, but wanted me to have fun with it. So, being that the French sculptor Rodin is my favorite sculptor, I suggested this lovely scene.

Below are my four returns for the Moonstone Comics set by 5Finity. The two middle cards (Valkrie and Calamity Jane) have been sold, but the Heap and Phantom cards are still available.

Clone Wars, Season One Widevision Sketch Cards

Here are a few of the 200 Clone Wars Season One Widevision sketch cards that I've done for Topps that have been approved to show. When I get the rest approved I will be sure to put more up. I love working on anything Star Wars, of course, but these were a blast to do. I like how the characters have a sculpted marionette look to them and that makes for a fun draw.

So, this fall is turning out to be one filled with sketch card work. Other than this set here, I am working on two sets for 5Finity; Zombies vs. Cheerleaders and Moonstone Comics characters, another set that I can't talk about yet, then another 5Finity that I may or may not be able to talk about yet, so I'll play it safe for now.

I hope that these will be as enjoyable to you as they were to me while working on them.

Archie Sketch Cards

I am currently working on a whole bunch of sketch cards at the moment, so I thought I'd put up some of the 56 Archie cards that I did for 5finity and the March Of Dimes. Right now, I'm working on the Clone Wars, Season One set for Topps and will soon be starting some cards for 5finity, including Moonstone Comics characters and Zombies vs. Cheerleaders. Should be fun. And on top of that, I need to get ready for my first ever out of state convention, as I will be heading down to Colombus, Ohio next week to the Mid Ohio Con with fellow illustrators Bill Pulkovski and Alex Buechel. So, if you plan on going, pop on over to my table and say hello.
